Irish riders score well at Olympia
Cian O’Connor rode “Splendour” into second place in the Accumulator (against the clock) today (Friday 18th December). He was less than a second behind the winning time of Switzerland’s Pius Schwizer riding “Unique X CH”
Cameron Hanley “S.I.E.C. Caro Ass” finished in fifth place with Billy Twomey in eighth “Blue Thunder*
Cameron Hanley “S.I.E.C. Livello” was the best of the Irish riders when he added a further eight position in the The Earls Court Olympia Christmas Cracker competition.
In The Accenture Stakes the Irish were again well to the fore with Cian taking fourth place “Irish Independent Echo Beach* and Billy Twomey “Ceasar” taking fourth. The class was won by Ellen Whitaker riding the 17 year old “Kanselier”
Cian O’Connor “Calistra MS” took joint 1st in the Puissance when 5 riders all had four faults in the final round with the wall standing at 7′ 1/2″
