What a fabulous turnout there was today for the Riding Club show hosted by Woodstown Riding Club at Pallas Equestrian Centre, Woodstown, Co. Waterford. Upon arrival this morning there was a small few getting ready for the day, but within no time the grounds were rapidly filling up as vehicle after vehicle arrived.

The two rings were non-stop for the day as one rider after another came out upon their immaculately turned out horses fit and ready for the days competitions.  There was a wonderful atmosphere as each competitor entered and exited to great cheers from the specatators making it a truely enjoyable day to be a part of.

It is no suprise that the turnout was so tremendous though as the show was run immpecibly. There was a steady flow into both the dressage and the jumping ring. The dressage ring was smoothed to perfection without so much as a faint footprint across it and the field ground was ideal for the days jumping.

All credit must go to the organisers of this excellent event and of course to the sponsors who provided the rugs, headcollers and numnahs for the prizewinners and I certainly would reccomend that next time you see a date for Woodstown Riding Club Show; put it down in your diary.
